Does anyone know about the Kapu-Kai in CA? - Locating Tiki

It appeared suddenly, there in Cucamonga, on Foothill Boulevard. It was fantastic! My parents asked me where I wanted to celebrate my 12th birthday. I wanted to celebrate at the Kapu-Kai; where else! My parents drove a blue American Motors Rambler station wagon full of 12-year-old girls to the Kapu-Kai for my birthday dinner. Nine months later, my family moved away from California to Florida. We had visited Florida for many years, and frequented The Luau, another fantastic tiki palace in Miami Beach, now gone. But the Kapu-Kai was, and is, very, very special to me.
