The nude breast did not bother me at all, as I wish public nudity would be more accepted within the U.S. I was more bothered by the implicit borderline violence - there is a big difference between Janet baring her breast herself and having a male rip clothing off of her in front of cheering thousands.

I think that the NFL and MTV should do another Super Bowl Halftime show next year. They can have as the main attraction the reunited DEVO, as they perform 'Whip It' with its disrobing by bullwhip imagery.

Well said, I totally agree with the angel, BUT do think a football game is no place for nudity. I feel the "garmet malfunction" was no accident. I also feel it was very violent, almost rape-like.

I don't have a problem with nudity where appropriate. I collect pin-ups and old "nudie cards" But I am a mother of a 8 year old boy. This action is not something that should be seen by kids. Even if the red lace bra had remained, I still see it as inappropriate. These people are on stage being cheered on, watched by millions, and are role models weather they like it or not.

Just in case any other parents want to send a complaint to the FCC

Oh, and nipple caps have been around for a long time.
