There is so much joy in art and in making friends on Tiki Central. I hope everyone who sees us at Tiki Oasis will come up and say hi.

I just wasn't going to be happy until I got to see all of Tiki Diablo's Home Depot tikis. They are finally in Elk Grove.

He did a wonderful job designing these and the quality is really good. Nice and heavy.

Dan and I came home from a lunch in Lodi, California. The restaurant we were at had a beautiful bathroom. Yes I still like to find fun bathrooms to share!

When we got home it was on the news that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis were in Lodi for their honeymoon. Imagine that! Maybe they used this bathroom, well maybe she did.

Dan and I went on a tiki hunt. I saw this mug on a shelf.

It is ceramic but the teeth had been painted with an enamel paint.

Here's the bottom. Anyone recognize who made this?

When we got home I tried to remove the paint with fingernail polish remover but that didn't work.

So I took a razor blade and scrapped off as much as I could.

Already it looked better.

I just followed the lead of the original artist and painted the teeth with more enamel. Dan now likes this mug a lot.
