You know your Japanese carvings, Impressive.
The Namahage comes from the most north island.
He has a job.
He keeps small children & cry babies in check &
the public in general in line, morally.

Moving on.
Here's a pendant going to Oasis.

This is a Moai style muddler.
It was a ballester [I guess] & I carved into
the angle to make the nose pop out.
