Maybe some of our European members can attend. Dear Friends, As tiki lovers I'd like, though I know the distance is big, to invite you to an exhibition-event we are holding in Barcelona. It's a re-lecture of Tiki from the Herstoric part, feminist. I'm Maria Pons, a Barcelona based curator and together with 5 artists have been developing an investigation for over a year on Tiki roots, and revising what would have tiki been if some of the referents were'nt manipulated from the patriarchal society of that time. it will take place next friday october the 16th, in Aloha, an amazing Tiki bar, and we will have a proper Luau with a music session touring around all the coasts of the Pacific.
