hang10tiki I owe all I know about sculpting and painting from my mother. She didn't believe in age related activities. If I could hold it I could have it and she would show me how. I was a very lucky kid. Thank you. Who taught you how to carve all those great tikis? RVICTOR you know the joy of playing with clay and I enjoy looking at your projects. Thank you. Atomic Tiki Punk I wish I could. 2 hours in the bag and 2 hours out. All day long. So far no cracks. ============================== Wish List #6 has been finished and now I'm gearing up for all the Hot Tub Hula Girls. Meanwhile I had a few scraps left that I wanted to use up so here's what I did. I had one Frankoma small tiki left and the bottom of a failed bowl. I combined them into a wall plaque. All done and drying. I had a failed Tiki Bob mug so I cut off the front and made a very large necklace or small wall hanging. I had some flat pieces of clay so I made some more glaze test strips. I made a necklace for Dan. It looks like a cracker. Backing up I can now show a table from when I was drying projects. These all had to be covered and uncovered for a couple of weeks. Some eventually made it into the garage for sanding. Goofy stuff that just emptied out my shelves. Happy Holidays, Wendy [ Edited by: danlovestikis 2015-12-07 08:43 ] |
