Postscript to this thread I guess,

I commissioned Jeff back in August of 2014 to make a small tiki for me. It took a while. There were a lot of texts, and a lot of excuses. He went on his guerilla tiki tour and all that good stuff, then finally got around to starting on one. He sent pics, I didn't like it. Jeff swore up and down that he was going to send my money back, lots of drama, lots of excuses, then, had his blowout on this thread, and quit showing up here, and quit texting me. After months of back and forth and excuses, that's where it stands. His Facebook feed has been cruising along the whole time, so he's still doing his thing, and still has my money. It's not worth small claims or anything, especially because he's so far from me. In the end, it happens when buying stuff over the internet. All you can do is make sure to use Paypal or have some other recourse with people you don't know.
