I don't think so. The Cuban souvenir industry is very generic. Like much local industry since Castro, it has come to a halt, and is lowly re-awakening. I think they import woodcarvings from various places, maybe African Cuba-friendly countries, and stamp the location on it…

But hey, it's a piece of primitive art, and a souvenir from a cool, rum-imbibing tropical island: A fine item for a Tiki bar!
