Great seminar this past Sunday, 2/24/16, at the (beautiful!) Majestic in downtown Los Angeles for the "Golden State of Cocktails." The seminar I attended was called "Tiki Cocktails & Culture in a Modern Setting" led by Martin Cate. Incredible historical lesson in tiki cocktails from the beginning to today which included three cocktails, including a mai tai. Mr. Cate was wonderful, informative and funny, of course, and he's got me very excited about his upcoming book, to be released soon. Here are few photos from the event:
