Kona used to sell the seasonals on the mainland in the past. Then they pulled them and stopped bottling them - so they were only available on tap and only in Hawaii. Then they recently started making them available in bottles on the mainland again, but apparently everything won't be available everywhere. I got an email from them last September saying the Aloha series would be coming back in Jan 2016, starting with the Koko Brown. We've seen a bunch of the Pipeline Porter around but no Koko Brown yet here. Their beer finder thing claims a couple stores a bit further away have it. Apparently the Wailua Wheat will only be available in CA, NV, NM, & AZ. http://konabrewingco.com/about/contact-us/ I don't know what they're doing. At this point I'm happy to have the Alesmith Coconut Nut Brown instead. |
