I am currently going through this, while I've only been into Tiki for 3-4 years, I'm a little OCD and I have more mugs then I know what to do with. It started with whatever I could find in the wild. I bought so many Orchids mugs it isn't funny. I'd get lucky and find a few gems here and there. Then I started collecting Tiki Farm, then some of the great limited runs by many of the fine artists here. Well as I learned more and more, the nerd in me really took over and I have focused on the historical element more so then anything. Skip your contributions on the Kahiki have given me hours of enjoyment. I can't thank you enough. So now my buying is limited to what I consider mugs of historical significance related to the places I like most such as the Kahiki, Steve Crane Kon Tiki, Mauna Loa Detroit, and the Mai Kai. So I'm buying less. |
