(We grew up going to Santa Cruz every year in the Summer. My Mom & Dad let us walk to the Boardwalk (which you would never do today) while they ended up at Brady's (a local dive bar with an ironic name). I didn't even see the inside of it until I was in my late 20's. Now I go with my Dad and the rest of the family. It became the family tradition over 20 years ago to order "Oatmeal Cookies" at Brady's which were a "special" advertised at the bar way back then.
