SO AFTER THE CRITIQUE I START TO WORK TO MAKE IT LESS AN ARTICHOKE. FIRST I CUT BACK THE NECK AND ADDED TINY LEAVES. NEXT I CARVED IN THE NAME OF THE TIKI BAR/RESTAURANT. THIS TIME I CRITIQUED IT MYSELF AND MY CRITIKI SAID THIS LOOKS LIKE GARBAGE. EVEN THE LETTERING WAS OFF. SLASH IT WITH THE KNIFE. SLASH IT AGAIN. SCRAPE THE TOP. ADD ROMO CLAY. USE UP THE LEAVES TO BUILD UP THE BOTTOM. KEEP SMOOTHING. NOW I HAVE A SHAPE I CAN WORK WITH. I'M HAPPY AT LAST. CHEERS, WENDY
