Aloha,

I am giving away a large portion of my Hawaiian music, exotica/lounge and rock classics record album collection (yes vinyl/LPs!) to my favorite tiki bars.

So please pass this info along to your tiki bar of choice and have them reach out to me!

There are no strings attached on what you want to do with the albums, though it would be great if you can come up with some fun giveaways or a promotional event to put these records in the hands of folks who will listen to and appreciate them.

It would also be awesome if the tiki bar can encourage any donations to the Cancer Research Institute: http://www.cancerresearch.org - folks who want to donate can use the "Give Now" link at http://www.cancerresearch.org/giving-to-cri/ways-to-give to donate to cancer research.

Thank you for keeping the lure and lore of tiki culture alive. I will plan to donate more of my tiki and Hawaiiana memorabilia in the same manner if this is successfully received!

How to select which albums you want:

  1. Look through the photos here: https://goo.gl/photos/oDV8dUXShsi7hM3g6

  2. The albums are sorted into groups called "lots." The individual photo names tell you the lot number associated with that photo. You can click on the "info" option when viewing photos to show the # of the album lot. Enter the numbers of all of the lots you would like to receive, separated by commas, in the order of preference. Example: 1, 3, 5, 4, 7, 10, 21. There is no limit to how many lots you can ask for! These records are in varying conditions, and in some cases the cover is there and the album is missing, and vice versa.

  3. Send the info to: [email protected] and use the subject line "free records," along with mailing information on how to deliver the records to you.

  4. I'll let you know which lots you'll get, and I'll have the records delivered to you by mail or in person. I will try to respond to any questions you have by email, too: [email protected]

Thank you for all that you do!

Mahalo,

-Glenn
