Sven, while your here...can you tell me anything about the Tiki on page 109 in BOT? From "The Tiki's" in Monterey, CA, Who carved it ect.?
All I can tell you that he is one crazy Mofo...but you know that. I would like to know his resting place now.
Before me and my team of urban archeologists (P13: Pete Moruzzi, Otto, Doug Miller, John English, and me kneeling) got there, Danny had begun selling off his idols to places like the "The Sea" (Huge nautical decor place now closed too) in San Pedro, and he vanished.
I found it curious that in concept (all eyes, nose and mouth) he resembles the table Tiki on page 187. Maybe it was carved by Bob Lutz? (P. 250). Now THERE is a location to find:
THE MAI TAI ROOM...if that's what the sign says. By the size of the Tikis and brick walls, it was adjacent to some Hotel...but which/when/where?
