Just got back from a two week long National Parks road trip where we visited eight parks and clocked about 4,500 miles. In anticipation of the 70-ish driving hours we downloaded a bunch of podcasts that friends recommended along with some cocktail and exotica shows and the entire run of 5 Min of Rum. The majority of the podcasts were unexceptional, some we couldn't even get more than a few minutes into, but I kept finding myself going back to your show. I listened to 45 episodes over the course of the trip. Just wanted to let you know I appreciate all the research and effort you put into each episode. They're really enjoyable and I look forward to going back through the show notes to make my own notes of some rums, books and tools I need to pick up, and maybe some syrups and infusions to try out as well.

Hopefully in the next week or two I'll be completely caught up. Keep up the good work!

Mahalo Mike. I'm very flattered - 45 episodes is no small feat! I am a big listener of podcasts myself and will often load up for a long trip also. I just never pictured my show in that category so it's nice to hear. :)

In an effort to keep the finish line in front of you, I'm working on the next show now. With any luck it'll be out in the next week.

Thanks for listening,
