The pecker has been back every day this week to wreak havoc. The owl decoys are essentially confirmed not to make a difference. I found something called irri-tape that is a holographic metallic material that I hung from the string lights around each post last night. Hopefully that will keep it at bay for now. Those metallic strips don't look very "tiki" at all. :(
