I always love your travel posts but this one I was really excited for! In 2003 I went to Rarotonga, Aitutaki and Aitu for my honeymoon. It was an amazing trip. Looks like some places I remember are still there but things of course have changed. We stayed at the Little Poly which was not the resort it appears to be now. It was a few low key bungalows, a hammock and some kayaks which was perfect.

I proudly have my carved Tangaroa that I bought from Island Craft on display.

As a librarian I had to go to the Library of course. It looks the same. I still have my paper "international member" library card.

I hope you had some rukau when you were there, I still think about it.
