Thanks for looking 8 ft! Interested buyer in Crockett. I have removed it from this space and moved it to a more protected area, not under the redwood trees from neighbors yard. With the rains and those trees causing more rapid decomposition, (acidic content), it will dry out and stabilize the wood. Should help preserve the old man for the next thousand years. :D
