As of the end of 2016, the former Athens Ledra hotel has been on the auction block at least four times and nobody wants it. It was announced back in October (2016) that the Marriott chain will be returning to Athens in the next few years but NOT at this property. They are taking over and renovating a different existing hotel (the Metropolitan). |
