Wish List #7 this one is hang10tikis wish. He wanted a mug for the Royal Hawaiian Hotel on Waikiki Beach on Oahu. He used on of my photos to show how he wanted the hotel name added. On the other side he wanted a tiki that used to be in the garden there. Now it is just a stump. I used photos he supplied and got to work.
I print a photo in the right size and then I press into it. I use this to get the right size and position. Then I look at the photo as I carve each letter to get the right shape.
The next challenge with this mug will be matching the pink of the hotel on the outside. Thank you hang10tiki for letting me make this mug for you. |
