I remember it well. Bamboo Ben did the re-model to make it look like it never happened. I'll go check to see the carvings you found. Thank you. I build it with soft sticky clay and then a day later I carve the clay now that it is firm. This photo best shows how mushy the clay is when I put it on the mug. Done and ready to pose.
