So, yesterday I ran across some online auctions for some older unique Chinese style cocktail mugs that are a little different from the typical Benihana style mugs.

These are not in the Ooga Mooga database.

They are roughly stamped "REST. SUNTORY" on bottom.

Suntory is a whiskey brand and they've made decanters, but I was unaware they have had multiple restaurants, including Honolulu and Mexico City locations.

Looks like the Honolulu one started around 1970 or so, since their website says they've been around 35 years and it was updated in 2015.

In any case, I'm not going to bid on any of these, but wanted to share photos pulled from online for anyone interested.

Confucius?

Daikoku

Fisherman

Geisha With Shamisen

Hotei Buddha With Sack Over Shoulder

Samurai?

Anyone know more about these and if they were used at the Honolulu location or somewhere else?
