Bong, The design of the obverse of your "Duke" medal is very similar to the German Kingdom of Württemberg Iron Cross Second Class medal from the First World War (1914-1918): http://home.att.net/~david.danner/militaria/wuerttemberg.htm I have seen alot of the Iron Cross design in surf items, anyone know why? |
