First, follow this link to take a look at this incredibly stunning dress >>> http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Disney-Enchanted-Tiki-Room-1963-Mid-Century-Vintage-Dress-/132224780442?ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:CA:1123

It has one of the most luscious and creepy novelty prints I have ever seen on a Mid-Century dress, with clusters of skulls, spears, little tribal men, tiki masks, all printed in vibrant mustards, turquoises, bubblegum pinks and oranges. I can't get over how little the pigments have faded over time.

A fabric tie pulls together in the front and is knotted on the side to cinch the waist. The tie does not wrap around the entire dress, but is sewn into the side seems and wraps to the front, like many vintage sarong-style dresses. The dress is meant to hug your curves, but towards the bottom drapes on the hips and falls to about mid-calf.

There is very little damage to the dress. The zipper is sturdy and metal with no rusting or lose threads, and the metal eyelet at the top of the zipper is still firmly sewn in place. There seems to have been a little bit of hand sewing at the slits on the sides to rehabilitate the seams, and a tiny little patch on the bottom right on the back of the dress which can hardly be seen at all, due to the busy nature of the pattern.

Measurements:
Bust - 37" (or a little bit smaller)

Waist - 26"-32" (The reason why the waist can vary is because the sarong style knot can be tied tighter or looser depending on your measurements.

Hips - 40" (Although some people like the tight wiggle dress look, you may have narrower hips and the dress will fit and just drape a little bit more on the figure, which is fine!)

Contemporary sizing would place this at about a women's size 8-10, or a Medium - but again, keep in mind that the tie in the centre can adjust a bit to your waist measurements, so there is room for customization.
