It's a bittersweet aparetif with notes of coffee and cocoa nibs. I really like it by itself. Anyway this drink has 1.25 oz Appleton 12, 1 oz Plantation 5yo, a half oz of Borsci and a quarter oz sweet vermouth. I added a scant squirt of maple syrup to round the edge off. It's delicious (although tbh i think almost any liqueur would have worked, but it's nice that it brings out the rich chocolatey notes in these rums. This works even better with La Hachicera! This damn phone keep orientating my photos sideways, sorry all!
