I recently started going back to the library.....innernets makes it too easy to find info online and had fallen out of the habit. Anyway, I needed to renew some items and figgered I'd do it online. They have this service, Freegal, that allows you to stream and download tracks (ours is 3 hrs of streaming and 5 downloads a week). Figgered..."what the hey, let's see if we can find some exotica". Did a search for "Quiet Village" and found "Bahia" from Arthur Lyman: https://wpbpl.freegalmusic.com/artists/view/190374936767/aW9kYQ== (hope the link works....I had to log in from my library site....you may have to log in also. Streaming it now....Probably will start downloading tracks. 12 tracks will take me 3 weeks to get the whole album. Did a search for "Beyond the Reef" and found this: https://wpbpl.freegalmusic.com/artists/view/29467953/c29ueQ== Luau at Waikiki by Harold Hakuole and The Villagers recorded at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. I'll admit that it is a slow process to collect albums (5 tracks a week) but the price is right. howlinowl |
