I figured you would've been there on Friday, Mike, with all the MCM they had. Glad somebody was able to get those pieces (and that Orchids lamp!) who would appreciate them. Was that bar commercially produced, or a home built job? I still have twinges about not grabbing that Siesta Ware glass set, but life's full of compromises.

Not sure. If it's custom/homemade it was very well built. I'd venture to say the cloth panels were definitely added in recent years and the bar appears to be older. A lot of the stain on the bamboo is chipping away. In a dimly lit bar it probably wouldn't be noticeable but silly me, I started dissecting the bar, pulling each piece of bamboo off and stripping it. And now that I've started there's no turning back. Oh boy what have I gotten myself into!? It probably would have been less time, money and work to build it from scratch.
