We spent 3 days on the Island walking several the trails through the cedar forests, ocean trails and checking out Tofino. Like the museum I’ll spare you from photo after photo of cedar forest and nature trails and just give a Reader’s Digest version of the 3 days. Day 2 – Travel day through the mountains to Ucluelet, hotel check-in and walk into town to get breakfast / sandwich supplies for room and trails. Day 3 - Checked out Tofino, local art stores, Long Beach and Rainforest Trail Day 4 - Lighthouse Loop and Ancient Cedars Loop Amtrak Train from Seattle to Vancouver Observation car Ferry from Horseshoe Bay Vancouver to Nanaimo Vancouver Island. Overnight in Nanaimo.
