Some of my is very old and has become thick and stringy. So I add some water and use a skewer to stir it until it is again usable.

Jose is a parrot. Here is another example showing some of the layering it takes to do BV paintings.

I again used a needle to add the feather effect on the chest.

The layering goes on for days as I fine tune him. Next I used a card so that I can get a line straight.

Got it.

Time for the addition of a tail. It's never this fast there are always many layers.
