I've belatedly come to realize I am too lazy to make most Tiki cocktails. They involve more fuss and effort than I want to put into a cocktail. And, despite buying every syrup and liqueur that I can get my hands on, I always seem to be missing that one key ingredient.

The above said...I've been enjoying this rum old fashioned:

1 dash Bittercube Jamaican #1 bitters (careful with this bitters, a little goes a long way)
½ ounce Muscovado (or Demerara) simple syrup
3 ounces J. Wray and Nephew white overproof rum

Combine with ice, stir, and pour into your favorite lowball glass. Garnish with a lime twist.
