The Moai were carved between 1250 and 1500 AD. I'm thinking these andirons were not from the same time period because the Rapa Nui did not have the technology to cast iron at that time. I'm just jerking your chain brokensquare :lol: Welcome to Tiki Central :D Very cool find, what's the story behind them? |
