I've always thought of Hemingway as a cheap ripoff of Rudyard Kipling; especially his Soldiers Three period. (Kipling wasn't I was especially sure Ernie was lifting Kipling stories after seeing a well-thumbed full collection of his work still sitting on Hemingway's library shelf in Cuba. |
