One debates the merits of using a straw vs no-straw. Or even a stimulating discussion on the effects of taste with the change in straw diameter. But none devoted to paper vs plastic debate, which is timely since many cities, including my hometown of Miami Beach, are looking at plastic straw bans. What are the public bar mixologists going to do?
