Thanks for the comments Jon, hil, and BB! Here is what I have been working lately.
I put together a few sketches on this one.

Eight foot tall, six inches wide and two inches deep.

The small guy on the bottom will be holding a spear.



Being carved from Alaskan yellow cedar, which isn't cedar at all and smells like arborvitae.

Top guy will be sporting a fishbone head dress.

A picture around Frog Island for ya Jon, can hardly see the sky this time of year.

I drove to Tacoma on Saturday to pick up this beautiful carving from Gone Tiki. It was great to meet him and his wife and talk the process of making tiki.

"Porter" is a quick one I did for next weeks Tiki Kon. He will be my station for stamping passports.


And some new floats.
