Got this today at Value Village: A contemporary mug by Dave "Squid" Cohen for Earl's, a restaurant chain that's mostly in Alberta and B.C. (with some other Canadian locations and a few in the States). The parrot is a nod to the papier maché parrots that used to decorate the restaurants in the early 80s. Originally used to serve a drink called the Tiki Torch, this year they've been used for Pain Killers (I haven't tried either, but I hear the Tiki Torch was pretty decent. -Sweet Daddy T.
