Went yard sailing Saturday afternoon and came away with some vintage rubber faux bamboo stalks and some silk Bird(s) Of Paradise. The co-op across the street never ceases to surprise me. Today I found this grody Port Light lantern (which looks identical to those currently being sold by Cheeky Tiki and is therefore likely not incredibly old) which is now the latest addition to the lamp collection. The red gel paint on the glass shade had some damage, so it was decided to repaint it in opaque red, attempting along the way to give it a wipe-away patina to match the grime of the rest of the lamp (a la Skip).
