Resurrecting this thread to mention that a new book was just published about Pontchartrain Beach. It was written by Bryan Batt and Katy Danos. I just got my hands on it today, so I haven't read the entire book just yet, but there are lots of great photos and an entire chapter dedicated to the Bali Hai. Check it out:
