And yes, it'd dangerous, but I've got two regular chainsaws and they're seriously dangerous as well if not handled properly. I've yet to see any indication that the OP is one to cut corners or take chances when it comes to carpentry or woodworking. By the by, awesome find on those cabinet handles! They're going to look great!
