3/4 of the people working & eating there seemed to be cousins, everyone was friendly, the food was good (even though they sold over 500 plate lunches by 5 PM), and there was certainly a strong Hawaiian vibe.

no! i want more more MORE tikis!

sorry if i upset you. the L&Ls i visited & saw in hawaii were yummy but had no trace of tikis. your original description didn't mention tikis or polynesian pop decor. i was just wondering.

i'd love to hear more about the decor & the tikis.

the 3 Tikis & possibly the dancers & musicians sound tiki to me, but the free T-Shirts, the trip to Hawaii, the cousins, the friendliness, the good food & the strong Hawaiian vibe don't necessarily.

however, it does sound like you had a blast.

I wish i had an L&L near me! or anywhere (tiki or not) that served a good hawaiian style plate lunch.

take care,
