Work on the front bar has begun. Have I mentioned I have no idea what I am doing? Something like a two-tier bar.....

Or something....

The top will be 43.5" from the ground (I wanted it higher than 'standard'), and the back will be 36", but will have a glass 'lip' from the top bar protruding over it.

I hope it makes sense once I put it together.
