My wife is a big fan of Doris Day, especially her songs. Yesterday, I told her that Day has passed, at 97, earlier that morning. She was quiet for a minute, then started singing 'Teacher's Pet'. We both started laughing at how delightfully alarming and wrong the lyrics sound, these days! |
