Maybe because the clay wasn't all the same thickness. Maybe it was because the glaze wasn't. Maybe a small air pocket that didn't burst during the bisque fire but did during the glazing firing. Maybe it was because my kiln started firing too hot. I had to exchange the thermal couple and even then an 06 fire had to be done at 07. Oh well. One wish that can't hold water, or any other drink.
