I kept it simple and wrapped a bit of rope round the ends and the middle then blow torched the rope. As you can see the light shone through quite a lot before the shades. I used the bracket to secure the bulb and point it towards the open end away from where you would look at the basket. Even gives a bit of a spotlight effect!
