Part of the appeal is to wear it out, have people see it, and maybe generate more participation here. Pins are good for that and very popular, but I'm not putting pin prongs through my vintage shirts. Maybe the way to go there would be to have an enamel pin made that has a loop/ring built into it which people could thread some cord through and then that could be worn as a pendant. That way there is two uses out of one item at little or no extra cost.
