Wish List 2018 Phase Four continues with the next mermaid for Mary Ann Edwards.

I glazed the bottom and inside of the mermaid. When I did the outside

the top layer of glaze cracked. I must not have made the mug damp enough. I can fix this during the second glazing and firing. Every crack becomes a glaze skip.

Each layer must dry before the next one is applies so I have many projects going at the same time and I have to keep all the glaze colors straight so I don't mess them up.

After the second glazing and firing they are ready for the enamel.

Then they are baked in the home oven to set it.

All done and ready for inspection.
