Wahine Marian and I just got air tickets and made reservations at the Hawaiiana hotel in Waikiki from June 5 to the 13th. The timing is geared so we can be there for Kamehameha Day on the 11th, and the parade on the 12th. If any TCers are going to be on Oahu that week, we would be into getting together. We're plan on doing an old style Waikiki vacation (it's Marian first time in Hawaii). We plan on: laying out on the beach, outrigger canoe rides, Mai-Tais at the Moana and the Royal Hawaiian, exploring International Marketplace, Don Ho (if he's performing), Polynesian Cultural Center, the Pali, swinging through my old haunts in Kailua, driving to North Shore and of course, going to La Mariana.
