Thanks BT, will, and cutcarefully, that beautiful piece of tight grained fir was originally split for the fireplace but was saved by a hero/friend that knew it was too precious to burn. I have been enjoying carving this cedar log lately.

Lots of holes carved into this one, I started on the hollowing out the back.


I'm adding a backlit background to this mahogany carving.
