Next steps: First I added some acrylic paint... Then I took some steel wool to it (since my wire brush is apparently on the lam- or maybe at work)... I was torn between adding white and letting the wood stand out- then decided to go with the paint. Next up more wire brushing, then will see how it looks. Thanks for lookin'. Using Wendy's technique of examining (and reviewing) one's own work via photos, I might have to go back and take the router to the shirt to add more texture to the red. Looks too flat to me.
