Time to do another repair: This is Jack Malley's favorite mug. A shelf fell and this happened. I fixed it for him.

Steps: figure out how all the pieces go. Wet the white exposed areas so that the glue will dry slowly. Put on a thin layer. Press the pieces firmly together. Wipe off the excess glaze. Tape pieces together with some stress to keep the pieces firmly in place. Leave for 24 hours and don't do them all in one day.

Elmer's wood putty. First, I rub it into all the cracks, then I wipe off the excess. Then I paint on more putty and let it sit overnight. The next day I sand off the excess. Then it's time to paint. I try to match the paint but since I only have a limited number of colors to mix it's never perfect. It's enamel rather than acrylic.

Painted it is a mug now for display not for use.

The difference in color between his mug and our shakers is that his is from Tiki Bob's. Ours are from Tommy Lee's Islander, Stockton, CA. I shipped his home today.
